We are proud to announce the successful completion of our coastal remediation project for the Environment Authority of the Sultanate of Oman.
Under the Environmental Emergency Center, Arva was tasked with remediating contaminated beach sand originating from a marine oil spill off the coast of Salalah. The spill contaminated approximately 2 kilometres of beach and was collected by the emergency response team.
Arva implemented its patented Arvox SRT ReGen technology to treat the contaminated material using our mobile treatment unit. The treatment has been completed and the results were verified by a third-party accredited laboratory in Oman.
In the next stage, the restored sand will be returned to its original location for full rehabilitation and ecological recovery.
This collaboration reflects an advanced environmental approach that transforms pollutants from an environmental burden into a reclaimed resource that supports the renewal of natural ecosystems.
